Default 2wd Cossie Boost Problem

I've just fitted a -31 Actuator as I thought there was a problem with the standard one as it used to peak at around 12psi and hold 10psi, a few months back it dropped to peaking at 6 and holding 4.

Now it peaks at 6 and I lose power the engines standard bar a K+N filter and Mongoose exhaust and the actuator I've just fitted.

Im just going to fit new fuel filter but Im not sure if this is the problem.

Can anyone shed some light on this. I am going to get it set up in the month or so but I need to get it running a bit better than it currentyl is before I arrange it.

that sound strange..standard should peak 12 and hold 9....are you running everything standard..dump valve ,chip,etc.. also when you say cutting out do you mean misfire or total cut out(as though ign was switched off)

Still not sure why it would cut out tnh as a cossie will run with a boost hose off unlike the RST

Dump valves a Forge Motorsport Item on the cold side, chip is standard.

I original set the actuator up using the half hole method and it was a nightmare to drive, got to 6psi really quickly and the car nosedives violently, engine keeps running but theres no go, about a second later it gets going again but once it hits 6 psi it does it again.

I've lengthend the rod and its made it a bit better to drive but still does it.

I'll have a look at the boost pipes and see if ones come off.

I may have a go a shortening the rod tomorrow.

Checked the boost pipes all appear OK, think I'm going to get a new MAP sensor and chip and get it to a RR. More expense

I think there may be a problem with the amal valve, can any one provide a diagram of where the three pipes should connect. I wnat to make sure I've got it connected right. I have just got a second hand one of eBay so I'm hoping this could be the problem.
