Okay the FRST has started leaking a bit of oil recentally witch has decided to get much much worse and make the car look like the engines going bang by the amount of smoke behind the car.

It really started dripping out now and is landing on the downpipe right by the suspention crossplate thing and is smoking a lot,

Um the oil appears to be appearing on the gearbox by the clutch cover plate and on the starter motor, im guessing this is leaking from the crankseal on this end of the sump, im gonna atempt it on saturday,

Is it a big job to do and what does it involve i've seen u have to remove the clucth cover plate to get to the bolts on that end i was gonna try just retightening it wirst since it had a new sump gasket etc back in september 2005,

Is this what you would expect even thow its hitting the downpipe aswell cheers BAZ.

Also while were on the subject the O/S door central locking is playing up it locks and unlocks straigh away on the o/s but locks and stays locked on the n/s i take it the contacts on one side are knackered, but witch one would it be.
