What are peoples views as they are appealing to look at and the shape looks very nice to me?
Performance figures look good and the handling is usually top notch on the clios all the way back from the williams clio![Wink](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
But They are still FRENCH/POOR build quality cosmetically not engine wise![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

We've just bought one
crap photo of me phone!

anyway, its heavier than old one hence even though the powers up slightly the old one is probably quicker. The gear ratios are very low to compensate for its lardy arse and even in sixth seventy miles an hour your pushing 4000 rpm so uts no motorway cruiser believe me, hence the low 134mph top speed I guess.
rattles fooking everywhere, its going back in to have them looked at both wing mirrors rattle, unsure as to whether its because we have the auto fold in ones or not. Vibration from the dashboard at certain RPM very annoying but hopefully will get sorted, but somehow I doubt it!!!
Brakes, Brembos, fuck me they are severe, try not taking your head off when braking from slow speeds they snatch and take you from 5mph to 0mph instantly, not too bad once you have got used to them but at slow speeds you have little or no feel to the brakes, its a learning process!!
Good points, nice interior, much better quality, lovely chunky steering wheel, great standard seats upgrades are probably even better, swish headlights that light up the road in the direction your turning pretty nice feature. Twin exhausts, F1 style diffuser PMSL but it does kinda look cool.
Engine loves to be revved has a nice throaty sound too, hit 5000rpm and the engine gets its second breath and really pulls hard from that point on. But its no rocket ship and you do have to keep in that power band to really hussle it along. 6 speed gearbox is a joy to race up and down when enjoying a nice B road very slick.
Handling is basically sharp, nice turn in, good grip and no torque steer although you can turn the ESP off which may induce it but I haven't tried. Very planted and stable as you'd expect from a modern car, not tried anything to lairy as its the wife's car and I don't want to bend it
At speed the brakes are awsome, scrub off serious speed very quickly, haven't tried this over and over again like on a track so don't know how they'd cope with continued use.
Nice big boot for the shopping, lots of room in the back to![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
expect 25/27 mpg which aint too bad I guess but then my old 330Ci Beemer used to give me 30mpg without much trouble

its not quite that but not far off, 90mph is not a comfortable cruising speed!! there's only about 500 rpm between gears.
don't get me wrong the review probably sounds harsh but it is a cracking little car, a lot of the points maybe specific to our car because it is an ex demo and hopefully the rattles etc. will be sorted shortly
oh the other thing I forgot was cold starting:
jumps and coughs and splutters terrible from cold, I go out now and start it up 5 mins before I leave, to let it warm up, but this is something else I would think is not normal and its being looked at when it goes into the Renault garage, not getting any better this review
