lol its not exactly santa pod but its only 20 mile from me,i love it im there 5 or 6 times a year

The problem with york is that they spend fook all money on the place and yet charge top money to get in

The place hasnt had anything done to the entrance road in over 10 years and its a bloody joke if you have a low car

think easter is the start at york we took wennys taxi there last year for a laff on the jap day & ended up 10th overall
its not the best of places but as its close its a good day out & you get plenty of run's
il be taking the new car there & pod to see what it can do & wennys mk3 will be there a couple of times this year to

Myself and a mate travelled down from East Lothian (scotland) for the 18th annual ford day as it was advertised as a huge event ...............

What a fuckin joke of a shithole place and as mentioned the rd entry is a disgrace

Event was very very very quiet ,saw about 15-20 fords in total and hardly any rsts or cossies etc

Ill never be back there again

The anual vw rwyb is always packed as is the beetle v's mini day.

Agree though that you pay a fortune to get in and the road in is a disgrace, the toilets are fooking rank, and the food is about Ł25 for a rat burger

better than totb then, though thats absolutely extortionate to get in in comparison, the toilets there were absolutely vile, its obviously totally aimed at profit margins, id never go back there again after last years atrocities. i thought york was considerably cleaner

Ye elvingtons toilets and food prices are a disgrace but at least the roads in are smooth and you dont need new suspension when you get home.

TOTB is wank the second year was good then ts rapidly gone down hill imo

got to agree, the first one felt special, like a real treat if you know what I mean, then since then way too comercialised (sp?) and lost all its appeal. Prefer elvington over york for rwyb days though IMO

Yep got too agree York is very poor, which is a shame as it has huge Potential...

That Said I'll try and get up there at some point, cuz as someone else said you do get a good few runs in on a day!!

I went to the Ford day too, hardly any fords, still enjoyed it though.

"Top money" "A fortune" Which York raceway are you guys going to? It cost me Ł10 to get in last year and about Ł20 to race.

The place does leave alot to be desired at times, but it's my local and a damn sight cheaper than Elvington. Now that place does charge top money. Somewhere about Ł40 to race and I can't remember the entry fee off hand.
