right, i need to find a name and ideally address linked to a mobile number, can anyone help?! this is urgent.

Looks like some pillock has got a txt file of a sql database sat on a web server for the whole world to see. i'm sure thats against the data protection act

They are probably programmers and some stupid Phone company has thought they could save money by having the work done off shore and sent them some test data.

right, its more than likley a PAYG mobile, on virgin, so chances of it being regestered are slim id imagine.
could do with finding somewhere that lsts all major and fatal road traffic accidents on the web. googled it but cant really find anything useful.
might sound random this lot but is very important, any help is much appreciated.

I doubt there's any chance of getting it removed because it's on a third party website. I'd like to know how they got hold of it from your service provider though

Those trackers all require the person being tracked to give consent.
Unless you know someone who has access to the data directly (ie one of the companies involved in the tracking)
A place I worked for wrote one of those sites and we were therefore able to just add entries directly to the database as if they had been validated and track where anyone at all was without their consent, but such activity is illegal too.
There is NO legal way of reliabley getting someone's address from their mobile.

Remember the police did this ages ago and told loads of crims who'd skipped bail or wanted for crimes that they had a chance of winning "x" prize. they had t oturn u pat a particular place..once they were inside (about 20 of them) the uniformed police stepped in and arrested them all

Obviously if its unregistered though you can ask for something that they dont have!
Plus many registered pre-pay phones have changed hands since registering without the new owner notifying he now has that SIM too of course.
