type 9 gearbox fit 2wd sapd cos????

have seen a gearbox on ebay it says type 9 gearbox will fit saph cossie but is this true can a type9 gearbox which is an xr4i ithink or scorpio box fit a rear wheel drive cossy?????????????

Even if it did, it would probably last about 5 minutes and you'd need another new one anyway

or yes forgot to say in the ebay post it says its a diesel so it can handle a load of torque?
