Ive been given an old set of Avo coiovers for a rwd cossie, they have been sitting on the car for over a year unuse so the trhreads have rusted up and the adjusters on bottom siezed, car was also involved in a crash up a curb but they appear undameged/not bent.
How much on avearge is a refurb?
and will they check for any unseen damage?
I would phone them up but due to my work im unable to phone them myself for sometime

About £50 at a guess.
Use a wire brush on them and then soak in WD40 or easing oil to free off the collar. Check for play in the shaft by wagling it, and check if the piston rod goes up and down freely. If you have play they need new bearings, if the piston rod gets stuck somethings bent.
