Not only did i wake up this morning gagging for a shag but i have just been down my mates workshop when another one of our mates turn's up in his pride and joy, havent seen the car in the flesh since it had it's feature in retro car's but damn it's sexy

Had three MK2 Lotus Cortinas between '82 and '87, last one was same colour as this, Ermine White, 5&1/5J steel rims with hud caps but 145 bhp engine, quick in '86

yeah, there were 2 dr variants of all the models. the GT was the most popular in 2dr though.

The MkII Cortina is a very under-rated car and you can still pick a real nice one up for not too much money.

Jon Hill (Classic & Fast Ford) photographers old one sold on e-bay recently for £3500 and that was a weapon... 145bhp Vulcan motor in it on Weber Alpha management.


The one in the pics is very nice.... but the VW in the background is getting nicer every time I look at it...

my passion is vws first car was a bug second a mk 1 gulf but i jus need a car more reliable and comfy thats why i got a escort.will have more old vws wen i get the cash together...what sort of price is the square
