yep there is actually a ford press garage, that cars can be loaned from for media purposes. One of the secretarys at M-sport got a Puma when they finished with it. Another employee has a 2WD Sapphire ex press car

they used to have a small circular badge on the slam panel saying warrenty void or something but most have been removed...you can still see where its been tho...

also says ford as first owner in service manual

Sorry but I always thought you would find these disc's on the slam panel of car's(Fords) that were proplematic with warranty claims etc,Ford replaced the vehicle and then sold the 'Problem' car through at auction.

A well known car super market in the Midlands brought many of these types of cars(Models throughout all ranges) in the late 90s and removed these discs and sold them back on as legit.

The warranty void was only on the cars that people like Haynes manuals borrowed and took to bits and put back together. So Ford could not guarantee it as built.

my old black S2 had one of these discs on the slam panel it also said warranty void when i went to look at it, i thought it was a moody car but ended up getting it as it was my first rs and i wanted it bad as it only had 1 previous owner which on the log book said it was ford the old boy that had it had brought it from ford and was the owner for 13 years then i brought it reg was F419 THK wish i could see her again havent got any pics of it too

Our old sierra ghia estate had the no warranty tag on it too,most of the cars with these on will be essex registered from Dunton ,Boreham, Aveley etc. all the regs listed above are essex ours was CTW essex too
