seen it before, and still dont believe its 700bhp, not without seeing a dyno sheet.
cool tho, just cause its different
properly twincharged by looks of the pics, turbos blowing thru charger, but 700bhp, id like to see. id be shocked even if 500bhp.
even at 300bhp i bet its a laugh to drive.

i too would also love to see any dyno printout of 700bhp

im still sceptical, but the bits seem to be there...
The way twincharging works (when done PROPERLY like this engine, not all that bizzare bypass bollocks people think/use) means you create more boost for less effort, say the turbos are blowing 7psi each, the charger compresses the already compressed air, so creates more pressure than it normally would at that blower rpm, so more power.
Its not even added either (ie 7 from trubos plus 7 from charger equals 14 or whatever), its squared or summat, ill have to look at my notes to be sure.
So you can run tons of boost/power for very little backpressure, which is obv good for power...

Stavros i'll copy quote from another forum...
the info aint quite right m8,the engine done it in a mk 1 cortina, now it has nitro but the sierra is a bit heavier, think 11's are more realistic wae road tyres, the car is still an unfinished project not runnin full power the now, once a spend some time and money on it ,i'll get it on the rollers and up to crail
2.9 V6, bored to 4.0, forced induction, remappable ecu, billet pistons, wire rung gaskets, uprated rods, lightend, balanced, etc etc...jag supercharger, garret t2's(rs turbo)v6 4x4 box rebuilt in titainium (snapped main shafts) standard 4x4 diffs (limits speed to roughly 175, new ones should see 200) only running 20 psi at present, not anywhere near full power, need a new boost controller to run 30psi and nitrous, this should hopefully see 700bhp

Used to be mine
I bought it cheap off a lad who was supposed to be a mate, had a 3.0 v6 twin turbo in it, proper pikey job, ripped me off good and proper.
It was a std ish looking 1.6 azura shell when i got it, bar lowered and exhaust, i fitted the cossie sideskirts/spoiler and interior.
I had it on the road for a couple of months, after endless problems and shagged gearbox, took it off the road.
I was going to sort it out, but after letting it sit there for a few months lost interest, sold it on as a non runner, the money that needed spending on it to get it to my standards would buy a sorted saph cossie so it had to go.
Engine in it now is out of Ian walleys mk2 cortina, ran 11.xx at 122, with iirc a 200hp shot of gas.
I dont think it made the 10s on that setup, but could be wrong.
A couple of pics when i had it

Thing with twin turbo V6's that have twin inlest tho, like that lump, is that most people think that if each turbo is boosting at 7psi, then the engine is getting 14psi - it's not, it's still only getting 7psi.
Now I don't claim to know how this works, but I have had this conversation with Rob Williams (some of you know of him as "Squeak" from this and other Frod BB's) who built one of the best twin turbo'd V6 engines - several times (in various cars) Think he did a couple of Perf Ford thrashes and obliterated virtually everything - including embarrasing some bighorsepower, sorry I mean big budget , Cossy YB's....
Anyway, like I said, a proper twin turbo V6, when fed a turbo feed from each turbo to each of the twin inlets, you odn't double the psi of the turbos (as in you don't add them together). The idea of it is that the engine has to work less hard, and each turbo doesn't have to work as hard to acheive and maintain a specific boost level....
I'll let someone else who DOES know what they are talking about explain why and how tho Cos I can't

If you read what i said already, youd know that its irrelivent as the turbos blow into the charger, so if the turbos were blowing 7psi or 70psi, the engine would see FAR more, its compound charged.

Pics fixed
Snowed the week after i got it on the road, had some fun in that, even got it stuck in 4 foot of snow, and its 4wd
Engine in it now is out of this
T2 exhaust housings are a nice restriction on it...

actually, looking at the pics, is it compound charged at all?
hard to work out how that pipework all goes...
if its filters-turbos-supercharger-intercooler-throttle-engine (or possibly also having a 2nd throttle pre supercharger) then its compound charged, but on that pic its hard to tell if the turbos actually do blow thru the charger...

car belongs to a guy called Alan and he stays in Wishaw
Hes had it for about 6 months I think and the last time I seen it it was at the Motorworld static show in Motherwell
V6 with twin T25 turbos with a supercharger and nitros, had some very nice brakes on the car as well Colin

Many people are under the impression that twin turbo engines provide twice as much boost, which simply isn't correct. At one point I also thought this! And you will probably find many Cosworth owners think the same as they haven't dealt with twin turbo'd twin inlet engines/V6 engines....
Calm down.
