Default sierra steering column cowling

is there different size cowlings for the sierra cossie?

i am trial fitting my dash in the rs200 and the steering wheel wants to stick out a fair way from the dash.
i have a sierra xr4x4 and i borrowed the top cowling cover to try that (it`s only about 2" long )

i have a gap about 4"+ between the column switch`s and the dash

i was just looking at an old fast ford mag and was looking at martins reyland escort and noticed that the top cowling is alot longer than the 1 i have, will this fit a sierra dash?
cheers
dave

The cowlings from the later cars are much easier to find The cowlings from the earlier ones can be a real pain to get hold of
