Default Ferodo DS2500's or Mintex 1144?

For moderate "fast road" in my civic type r

which would you choose and why? or if anyone could offer another brand of pad that would be suitable.

I appreciate that most peoples view on here will be of their performance on cossies and RST's but any opinions/comments are greatly appreciated

Thanks

DS2500 are superb for road use. I was never that impressed with the 1144's.

Not a good comparison, but i had 1144s ad 1155s on my standard brakes - they both faded pretty quickly with hard use. Have DS2500 in my APs and they've never faded at all.

I've always used 1144's due to the price I could get them and been happy with them, but given the choice 2500's are better from what I've seen, working as well from cold but hanging on longer at the hot end.

I run 2500's with DBA discs and they stop amazingly well. They produce a reasonable amount of dust and do squeal a bit although that could be down to my combination rather than the pads alone.

Ferodos every time

I ran M1144s and they were utter rubish IMO zero confidence in the pedal and dust was unbeleiveable
