Andy_RS 500 many thanks for the ride out as usual- Top car, properly prepared and F'in fast.

Lee 21 turbo- I have a new found affection for R21's- most impressive..

TIm/Ollie- nutters. 205's rock.

Dingaling going well-- and side ways--- as too was an N/A one

Plenty of off's and spins left right and centre but I only saw one car damaged and it looked repairable- dark coloured Saff..

Also- 200sx- effortless drifting.. awesome..

Davecos 4x4 going like the clappers as per usual..

Porkies dad??? (was driving the skybus anyway) Had a bit of a chat with him about 205's- nice bloke.

I am sure I'll remember plenty more- pics in a bit..

Jake
you think dingy was going well?? cant have been that good he never got below a 1minute 50.. but no doubt he will give the usual misfire problems or troubles with grip a go

also martin johnsons thing was pants (including the driver) he also never got below a 1 minute 50

that saph which had crashed didnt look too good.. although earlier on another session i did say it looked as if it handles like a bag of nails!

best track car today was the Ex touring car seat timed that at a 1min 30! which is stupidly fast for in the wet

and best fast road/track car has to go to Marco's rs2000 ran faultless all day and looks awesome fun!

get your hearing tested as my car suffered all day from a bad missfire allday which we tryed to cure,

and i dont where pants but boxer shorts
sounded fine for about 2 laps for my hearing... still wasnt impressed
Martin its ok cause nicky can't even legally have sex let alone drive

It looks like the problems have started with a stripped mounting bolt(The one that also holds the strengthening bracket)and the diff has come loose over the day causing one of the mounts to pull out of the sump......
Once a nice new big wing has been fitted along with a fresh box she will be as good as new...

altho i must admit, i did have a "moment" coming into the pit straight, plus lost it next to melbourne due to a stupid change into 2nd gear with no revs bringing the back round

as for the car, well i was a tad dissapointed with a few things. 1) the brakes would pack up after 2laps, i was getting serious judder. this needs investigating 2) i had no grip to the front, this might just be shonky tyres, but ill get the geometry checked just incase. wasnt helped much by my corner entry speeds and late turn ins tho... but once i geot the steering on earlier and approached the corners slower i was doing much better
Alright Jim

Cheers for the top day out. Some people do need to learn its a track day and not a RACE day. They obviously took no notice of the breifing

You BM is quick Jim, with the brakes sorted and decent tyres it will do so much better.

Nice to meet Dingy. A nicer person in real life than he appears on here

Just got my first chance to post as ive had a hectic 24 hours !!

What a great day I had yesterday some excellent driving and some very nice turned out cars.

Daz's Dolomite and Dingy's MK2 spinning up all they way down the pit straight.

Most of the Cossies for the sheer speed down the pit straight !!

How bloody quick were those Audi RS 4's and 6's !!!!!

A certain Yellow M3 for the huge tank slapper

And that awesome Mk2 rally car just getting flung around !!!

Roll on the next track day that PF can take over !!

PS How good was it

That there were only 2 Imprezas

what a day,up at 4am ,shit drive down in the transit

Then the weather was rotton

Oh but fun it was had to be carefull but it is defo a diferent ball park in the wet i dont do sideways intensionaly and managed to keep it down to 2 ,one of which was under control and one which ERM wasnt more of this way that way and almost a stop ,

Had a bit of a misfire in the first session, but only at silly rpm. However "the Youth " managed to clean a few things .wreck 2 Rotor arms ,mine and a borrowed one of Bri4*4`s from the car park .

Blame was a dodgy fitting Dizzy cap and the two leads accidentaly put on wrong Never mind Steve ,can happen,i would have missed the second session anyhow with the torrential downpour

BIG thanxs to Dave ,who sorted us out with a rotor arm and cap (although i aint sure they where his to give away )out of i belive Marcos box of bits
Allso Dingy he sorted out the second rotor so Bri could drive home

Well done to Dave for fucking up the intermediate session how was the kitty litter

Good day out was had by all

one bum note was that after getting up at 4am to get a garage ,i turned up and found a free one no24 i think (one car in it) and was told no i cant come in as he was saving it for a freind twat had blocked the entrance with his Subaru Wagon and trailer .
A nice chap with a caterham 21 let me share one side of another with him
saved the bloke a slap anyhow

Only pic of mine I have on track.....thanks to James_RSCos....if anyone has anymore I'd love to see them.....

Righthooker......it wasnt Dave that entered the kitty litter......it was his mate...the one with the gold wheels that went off....and got a bollocking for it too!!!!

Forgot to say thanks to AndyRS for the oil he let me have & for Dingy for letting me have a spare Collins actuator that I'd fitted the day before and meant I could run 17psi as opposed to near on fuck all!!!

Pic of the day:

Taken by my mate Phil from the grandstand .
Not sure of the car owner's name, but if you want the high res version drop me an email and I'll send it over.

Numpties of the day: the two cars who went into two different gravel traps on the outlap of an expert session...

Weather and gravel-seeking beginners aside, I thought it was a pretty good day.

Many thanks to Martoon for bringing a new rear shaft for the 3-door and thanks also to Marco for lending us his tools to fit it before we hit the track

dave spun in one of the sessions but it didn't cause the red light, lol it was me and me mate in the black one with gold comps a lap later in the gravel AGAIN lol the guy in the pace car is a little hitler, one in the MG estate, he absolutely HAMMERED us the first time we come off, because one of the other guys told us to go the wrong way once we was out of the gravel

dusted a 911 to only find out way into the kitty litter, top end of 3rd gear, WOW that gravel stops you instant!!!

loved the day!! am pretty much hooked on trackdays can't wait for the next. and i think that rotor arm dave got you was out of marco's box of bits, garage with the red RS2k in
