Default FUNERAL MUSIC

So, what songs would you like to have played on your funeral/cremation?

I wish I could see my own funeral to be honest (along with many others wanting to see my funeral lol) as I'm curious to see who'd be there and how people would react to my demise, and I'd like to have music played that either reflects the way I lived and the person I was or that has really touched me during my life.

So my top 4:

My way - Elvis Presley (live in hawai)
If I can dream - Elvis presley (live)
American trilogy - Elvis Presley (Live in hawai)
unchained - Johny Cash

Trouble is that there are so many song that would be appropriate and/or special...it would be hard to choose!

How about a greatest hits cd that all the attendents receive afterwards instead of a shonky card

Mine would be William Orbit's version of Barber's Adagio For Strings.
Awesome track and kinda in-keeping with the function: classical music-wise, but also appropriate with me DJ'ing and loving the tune.

Queen : Friends Wll Be Friends (Forever)

Gun's N' Roses : Don't Cry

And, depending on how many women are there stamping on my grave, Gun's N' Roses : Back Off Bitch

LOL

No, I was inspired by Boschman's drivel about deep thought, total nothingness (or his expert opinions) and the afterlife.

P.S. I don't celebrate X-mas mate

Brain Eno " An ending " - its the tune from 28 days later.

Sigor Ros " njosnavelin " - the tune from the later part of vanilla skies when he is on the roof top and is finally told whats really going on.

Probably the two most chilled emotional songs I have ever heard.

Rob D - Clubbed to death
Great song, but wont be played to its fullest in church as its got some VERY deep bass which is why I love the song
