yeah the turbos and nos are added on a lot of bikes........

turbod busa = death

cruiser bike style cos sheer size/weight doesnt make them "that sporty"

cant beat em for speed out the box though

the problem with fast bikes isnt the speed its the person revving it

personal choice for a fast sports bike would be gsxr750

no mate but best all rounder imo

lad where i used to work had a busa.......blitzed everyone in straight line as his mates caught up round corners.

sold it because he got bored of having to speed all the time in straight lines

told me a story of when he raced an m3 in 40 in aberdeen near tullos and hit near 200mph in a 40

(dualler empty road)

said that was final straw and he sold it

you'll be supprised how fast a busa will go round corners if you get a go on one .....a mate of mine had 1 when i had my r1 and i would take his out and to be truthfull they ride more like a zx6r......you can not feel the weight........his had a remap and aftermarket high level cans on it and fuck me it went some......

i have to say though if your asking how fast a busa is you will end up seriously injurying yourself/dying on one

start with 600 and work your way up

Are you seriously considering a busa as a 1st bike??????????????

Busa's are 1300cc or near as dam it, although i aint been on 1 i've heard thy do actually go round corners pretty well. That said if it going to be your first bike you'l be lucky to get round the first bend in 1 piece lol

Do NOT have a Busa as a first bike - it's a big NO NO that will probably end in tears

Im thinking of getting one in the coming summer but it'll be a duke 996 if i do

AJ THE PF GOD

I had a little do with a v or w plate 996 and he wasnt getting away from me, which i was very very surprised at.

I work with a bloke who is bang into his bike and he said that his aprilia rsv mille is only about as quick as a decent 600 in a straight line which i was amazed at.

have to admit to thinking the Busa to be a very fast but big and clumbersom monster UNTIL I rode one and was VERY surprised as to how well it handled for it's size and WILL say if the right riders on it it WILL beat most sport bikes even round town !

i'd love a duke myself, thinking of a 748 next summer, not alot of go in them but they handle beutifally!! and look stunning
