Focus Powersteering pump leaking
To follow on from this thead:

I have identified that the powersteering pump is leaking out of the sender. My girlfriend said she had it replaced about this time last year by ford, under warrenty because the pump that was on there is an experimental pump that wasn't meant for porduction models. Is the sender leaking a common fault?

Its a 1.8 zetec/ year 2000,
She said, Ford replaced the whole powersteering system under warrenty in 2005 because the system she had on her car was never meant to go to the customer. I'm not sure the exact detail as I wasn't with her at the time. I can't see anything being under warrenty after 5 years unless ford mucked up.
