Default Cats lovers help!

My cat is used to going outside and doing his stuff, however i am moving house soon and for a short while will moving back home between my house move.

Obviously I wont be able to just let him out at my parents place and then on top of that he's got to get used to my new house

Whats the best way to get him used to using a cat litter bearing mind what hes used to??

I know its not a ford related thread but at least its not about Bimmas or Evos

Are you saying that you're a single bloke that lives alone with a cat and you claim to be heterosexual?

I think a cat shitting in your parents kitchen is the least of your worries mate.

If he shits in your garden, dig it up before you move and put it in the cat litter tray at your parent's place. He will smell it and will instinctively use the litter tray. Easy

1. get a good strong sturdy sack

2. put said cat into sack

3. place 2 regular house bricks in said sack with said cat

4. tie said sack tightly closed

5. throw said sack into nearest canal/lake/river/ocean

sorry, cats piss me off dragging their fleas and shitting everywhere. why do dog owners have to be responsible for where they shit (or more importantly where their dogs shit ) but cats do it everywhere and their owners don't care?

Ours all use litter trays. Bearing in mind the environment will be new as well as the concept. Just fill the tray with litter crystals (even better if you can get the bags that line the tray), put the cat in there as his point in the house. He/She will then venture from there as that being their base.

We have moved several times and caused no problems at all.

If you had the cat as a kitten and used a litter tray then, he'll remember what it's for.

just get the tray out, they know what its for.

ours have been ok for a few months now and not shit in the house since we got rid of the tray

only time they needed the tray lately was when they were a bit ill with stomache upsets and couldnt contor when they shit

One of my mate's cats sometimes kips in the litter tray. as it's one of those ones with a roof over the top

BTW, any cat lovers need to go to google video and type in "Talking Cats" and click the first link, it's absolutely awesome, and cracks me up!

All I'm saying is "Oh long johnson...."
