What Digital Camera would you recommend?
I'm looking for a new digital camera as at the moment i have a fuji fine pix and the quality of the photographs aren't bad as it's 3.2 megapixels. But now i want something a little better and was wondering what's a good digital camera? And how much will it cost? I'm probably looking to spend around £300. Also could you post some photographs you have taken with your camera.
Cheers ben.

Was going to say pretty much what Deano said. The fuji S series are great value cameras, although bare in mind they are 'slr style' not as big as slr but not compact cameras. 10x optical zoom is good too.

Just seen the S5600 is only £139 at pc world! I had an S5000 which was only 3.2mp but the quality was better than my current compact 5mp fuji.
The S5600 is 'only' 5mp but I'd imagine the quality to be excellent, as I say my 3.2mp s5000 was great. Again has 10x optical zoom.
The s9500 is £268 at pc world.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
5Mp or 10Mp makes no difference on those small sensors.
10Mp will have way more noise. (and probably extra in-camera noise removal wich will make it look no better than a 5Mp one in A4 prints)
Just check the reviews on the noise on high ISO for the 5Mp version if this is good, then go for that one.
