Default Non Starting Cosworth

Well my car is acting itself again

I cleaned the idle valve on it yesterday cos it was hunting, that sorted its idle but when I went to leave work it was running on 3 till you came into boost (flooding like a bastard). I got it home and parked on the drive, went in the house and sulked!

On coming to start it this morning it fired first time, to my surprise, then dropped to 3 putting out black clouds of smoke and reeking of petrol as if someone had poured a gallon on the floor next to me. I gave it a little rev and it popped a couple of times spat a flame out of the exhaust and then just stopped.

Its now just turning and turning but wont fire, I have spark and theres definately fuel.

It was on the CO machine at work the other day running 11.8% and the lowest I managed to get it was 5.7% which is/was how it is set now.

Anyone else suffered similar or have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I got a new coolant temp sensor in the glovebox, I just been too lazy to fit it cos its been running ok the last week or so.

Ill try an get hold of a map sensor to try that too.

Also thoght TPS switch after someone else mentioned it, could it be thinking the car is at full throttle and dumping fuel in accordingly?
