cosworth plenum elbow mods?
hi all,
has anybody modded their elbow for extra flow? if so does anybody have any pictures of how they've done it?

Danny with the Fiesta cossie did/does have a plenumn with a VERY modded elbow.

2wd elbow and plenum right now. there was a small pic of a modded elbow in one of the mags in an article about jenspeed, looked simple enough, but does it work well?

I've modded 2 4x4 plenum elbows but don't have pictures. I also know someone with a modded small turbo escort plenum, again no pictures!

make sure you bolt it up to an inlet manifold when you do the welding, i warped my first eec4 plenum cover welding bosses in it because i forgot

Also need to fit a spacer on there, as std plenum deepth is abit restrictive.
My rs500 inlet with mod's and spacer.

The Plenum was done by Julian Godfrey, for a Rally X car a few years ago, think it most of been flow tested, but i haven't seen any results etc etc.
i did the spacer, and internal 2nd inj bank mods.

mine is modified by jenspeed engineering but you could probably get any welder/fabricator to do it

...there is a plenum cover for any power requirement...messing around may increase flow but how many get the fueling checked after!!!!
2wd cover = 440bhp
4x4 cover = 460bhp
eec4 cover = 520bhp
RS500 cover = ???
Swedish plenum = MAXIMUM
..all approx
..dont like the look of Baskys.
