Right, resigned from a job 2 weeks ago due to the boss being a prick.

Anywho, got paid the week i resigned, then got paid a week after (last friday)

Only snag is that I only did one days work and should be something like £60-70.

I got paid £209 and have no idea why?

Do I ring and ask why and risk losing it, or do I leave it?

I know they can spot a problem and give out CCJ notices for it but what to do???

Its a Co-op so its not like they can't afford it. Should I just leave it in there and forget about it, or should I ring them and explain?

Chances are they owed you holiday or something you hadnt taken.

Oh and its bollocks about CCJ notices, a court can only do that after the Company in question has defaulted you with at least 3 notices.

Think I'm just going to leave it there, if they ask for it back i'll say I earned holiday pay, etc. etc. blah blah you owed me for one day, i thought it was this.

If they pay me at the end of this week... that could be a worry lol.

But how long should I leave it before I'm all clear?

In theory there´s actually nothing they can do once they´ve paid it into your account.
They can ask nicely but I believe you dont have to give it back even if it is an error. Once you´ve got your P45 in your hand you´re laughing.

They are supposed to give you that with your final pay slip. Call the Payrole dept and ask where it is.

if they haven't given you your p45 you techniaclly still work for them

perhaps you are on gardening leave? or they don't want the press to hear that they let you go just before christmas?
