xbox 360 question
are all xbox 360 hd ready?
looking to buy one but im seeing to different options and they dont say wether there hd ready or not
i have just the core system with a game etc in a green box or the full system in a white box
i will be buying a hd tv sometime next year but will just have to play on my normal one for now
so if all xboxes are hd ready ill just buy the core system with a couple of games etc and buy the leads for the hd at a later date
or is it worth spending the xtra on the full system, ?

last time i played a console was almost 4 years ago
when battlefield came out on pc ive always been on pc games
loooking for sumthing else to do at the minute and the xbox seems to fit the bill
so will order the premium pack then
my mate just said i need to buy the hd dvd player aswell so i can watch dvds in hd how true this is dont know lol

just want sumthing different
i did buy that rainbow 6 las vegas for the pc
took it back the same day it was shite
how can they expect an xbox game to be played on the pc i dont know, as thats all they did was copy it from xbox so it can be played on pc

rainbow 6 looked the blolx mate
but they made it far to complicated for what it is
only 16 players online in a sever which is shit
graphics are diabolical with no settings
controls i think theres a round 20-30 controls which is hard work on keybaord
no voip
no mouse wheel selcting
was gutted

saw screenshots of it on a pc forum i visit and the graphics didnt look very good, also the person who posted them said he thought it wasnt very good,AND he had a decent system so it wasnt that, shame

its how they have made the game mate that lets it down
basically put an xbox game on a pc
wouldnt work rite but thats what they have done
heres a screenshot of my mate looks like robin hood i think
thats what the graphics are like no matter what card, and the lag was stupid
heres a screenshot of 2142 on same card with graphics up high
my card is a 6800 gs 512mb nvidea, mimum requirements for rb6 is 6600
ill stick to this for the time being

The difference between the core pack and the premium is:
Core pack:
Wired Controller, Non HDTV cable, No method of saving data, No Headset communicator.
Premium Pack:
Wireless controller, 20GB Hard Drive, HD TV Cable, Headset Communicator and some packs have a bonus remote control for DVD playback.
The core pack is HD ready, its just a low price alternative to get you onto the Xbox. The accessories such as Hard Drive, HDTV cable, Headsets can be bought sepearately as you need them. A typical HDTV lead costs £14.99.
Everbody gets 1 month free access to Xbox live Gold membership and free lifetime silver membership. Only gold memberships can play online games. Silver allows you to browse and download files(Gold does this as well) There is many different ways you can take out Xbox Gold membership, you can buy prepaid cards for 3, 6 and 12 months or you can pay £4 a month from a debit or credit card. Full payment can be made for the year as well using your credit/debit card.
The benefit of Xbox live is Microsoft automatically update your console for patches etc.. You can invite your mates to games and also download new maps, content for games as well.
