sierra front suspension removal???
got a koni adjustable set up, how do you get it off?
the bottoms completely free ( no front hubs etc ) and up the top theres a 19mm lock nut that just turns with part of the suspension?

Did my friend a few months ago. The threaded bar that goes through the top nut should have a fitting that take an 8mm (i think) spanner (allen key on standard shocks). You hold that while you loosen the nut- that stops everything just spinning round.

that way you can get a bit more pressure on the actual strut to possible get it off?
failing that, use a spanner on the flats to hold it while you undo it
or burn the nylon off the nut, but this takes forever and you could end up overheating the rod

had no mole grips, just borrowed some for tomorrow, no deep 19 spanner or socket and no on to borrow them off, so will try melting the nylock bit. and using a normal ring spanner tho it don't fit all that well
