White blob in the lower right of the picture is a digital camera.

Its tether hook came loose so now the camera is floating into space.

They are currently passing the Atlantic and soon Spain/Africa so they are just hanging on up there, enjoying the view of the Aurora from above(nothern lights) and waiting for the sun to rise in about 15 minutes. Remember, they are doing about 17500mph so they are lapping the Earth in about 90 minutes.

Then they will continue with this...

Trying to free up some retractable solar panels that have jammed, rocking them back and forth will hopefully free them up.


Huge panels, 115 feet long.

Shure is, beats me how they managed to much such a nice model of Earth. I guess the cool looking clouds are made out of cotton?

They are pretty good at photoshop too....
