You do NOT need to overclock your graphics card, unless you can afford to buy ANOTHER new one

I could buy another (and prob will when i blow this one ) i want to see if i can unlock the extra pipes and overclock it.

I can't believe I only stumbled across this thread a few days ago. Just wanted to see if anyone is still reading it. I could answer this question with a yes! I know about this car, well the registration number anyway.

I bought F969RPO (a standard white 1.6L stock model RS Turbo) from a used car dealer on the A24 in Ashington near Worthing in late 1992 (the previous owner was DUI and couldn't afford the insurance when he got his licence back) it had about 16K on the clock and I had it until early 1995. During my ownership of this RS Turbo it had a front end smash caused by a lady pulling out in front of my dad who was driving at the time, this happened in Rustington. The front end was rebuilt by Target Ford in Crawley, where they put the wrong registration plate F960RPO on the front, it took me a while to notice this. I can also tell you that the push-button switch under the dash for the alarm stopped working and I replaced it with a toggle switch.

I was not an enthusiast at the time but I was impressed at the performance this car delivered.

There is a lot of nonsense about this car online, one quote I saw was that it was only one previous owner, well I was the 3rd and I sold it to a family.

Any way a bit late but just in case anyone is still interested. I don't have any good pictures.
