How can I find out if this number plate is on retention?

might be worth calling the dvla?

 

Im not aware of any site that tells you if a plate is on retention.

I guess the normal DVLA vehicle check site will at least tell you if its on a car that is currently taxed, but you would have to know the vehicle Manufacturer, so happy searching
