Paypal is taking 9 days for payments to clear all of a sudden. What the hell is that about? Is there anyway of speeding it up as just bought something but it says payment won't clear until 19/12/2006 in which case its not likely to arrive before Christmas

Any suggestions on how to get round this? Cheers.

Looking at it I think its because I've put my parents address as a delivery address and this is different to my address (the card address). Never been a problem before but now for some reason it is.

Are you sure you've got the fund's in your account to cover the item because if you aint then the payment will have probably gone as an e-cheque till your account has the fund's in to cover the payment

Plenty of money in the account. Unless its some way to make a bit of money by paypal. The money has gone to them and they sit on it for 9 days making interest before passing the payment on. Why else would it take 9 days to clear a payment?
