Help fitting Turbo Timer to L6 ECU + Coil pack
Tried fitting a turbo timer to my Cosworth yesterday running L6 ECU and a coil pack conversion by MSD. I'm stuck on one part that require a wire to be fitted between - as quoted in the instruction RPM Sensor and ECU. My friend has the same timer and we fitted his to the negative of the coil and it works fine. I had a look at the ECU wiring diagram and pin 5 is the pin for the coil but I don't think this is the correct one.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
James

You have 2 coil -ve on the Coilpacks - as it's just 2 coils feeding 2 cylinders at the same time. There should be a calibration on the turbo timer to adjust number of sparks per engine revolution. In that case, you can just connect the wire to ONE of the coil negatives on the coil pack (either of them).
