Its gone too commercial and some of the P/Correctness bellends have killed some of it off by restricting what we can and cannot call it/say. It doesn't help when Xmas decorations are in the shops in fucking September and all the songs are the same old shite

I haven't even put my tree up yet but will do so during the week as I like big massive bushy trees and not shitty artificial ones. The plus side is I can drop it off and the bird, my mum, my lodgers bird will sort it out like they did last year All the girls here are well excited over it but me and Thomas (He's from Slovakia) like the idea of just celebrating it and having a few drinks

I honestly dont start to gets xmas till at least 2weeks before. as anything before is just silly. i think 2 weeks is genours amount of time for the run up

Though i went to London yesterday and that was freakign manic, and you could deffo tell xmas is on the wya!

i used to work part time in a somerfield an last year we had easter eggs in the stock room before we shut for christmas!!!

I ventured into Reading yesterday and that was manic too. Anyone would think theres no more Christmas's after this one ..on the plus side theres some good deals on the go and I spent Ł375 in about 5 minutes. I just wish I could earn it that quick

I hate Christmas, its just shite now.

Used to properly love it.

Think what kills it for me is the prospect of having my cousins little shit out of control brats running around our house screaming all fucking day!!
That and all the leeching family coming round, we never see them the rest of the year.

But its my mams house so what can you do? I usually lock myself in my bedroom after dinner and stay there till they bugger off about 9 o'clock.

Think I may go and spend it with my girlfriends family this year.
