Went into the factory last night when it was pitch black, proper eary place to be, the buzz of the eletric substation providing a background noise, shit loads of differnet nooks and crannies and rooms, halfa dozen toilet blocks and shower blocks, interconnecting office rooms and corridors upstairs etc, and it struck me that it would be a fucking awesome place to have a paintball game, proper bit of nighttime industrial/urban setting etc.

However would be a fucking nightmare trying to clean up afterwards, so i then started thinking about the laser games that you get, like lazer quest etc, and how cool it would be to play that in there.

Where do you get a setup for that from though that allows lots of players?

Which is only up to 4 players and blatantly is kids stuff, is there anything a bit more along the lines of the laser quest games thats available to the general public without spending thousands?

coulnt you do the bb type games chip, where the bbs are bio degradable (sp) so no issues with cleanign up (well nowhere near as much)

The trouble is many of the rooms are painted walls, so even that would make a mess, and we arent supposed to make any mess upstairs.

These ones have glasses with heads up displays telling you when you have been hit etc


Looks a bit cheap and nasty, but should do the job, and it specifically says each pack contains one green and one orange unit, so really sounds like if you bought half a dozen packs you would have two teams of 6

mate of mine had one that went on your arm which was kinda cool would keep score etc.

Ive yet to see any laser equipment that would qualify for being classed as fashionable, lol

Doesnt really matter what it looks like providing it works.

The setting really is mint, will get some pictures or videos or something to show what i mean.

Couldnt really get any decent pictures that just show the sheer fucking size of the place as it was pretty dark when i went in and the main lights are all disabled

Its a disused factory/warehouse

My girlfriend and her mate are guardians of it, we can do what we want with it providing its not commercial and doesnt particuarly wreck the place.


Dont think its blood, not really sure i dont ever normally go in that bit as its about 100 yards away from the side of it I tend to be, never really paid much attention but just thought i would walk round and snap just randomly anywhere and everywhere with the camera.

Will have a look, but more likely paint

It was last used 4 years ago mate.

There were furnaces etc in there for making pistons and other parts.

Thats the problem, we arent supposed to make a mess and some of the office rooms are still in tidy condition, I just didnt bother taking pics of all the smaller rooms as i didnt have a fisheye lens for my camera and if you try and take a picture in a 15 foot square room you end up with a picture of a small bit of wall, lol

You wouldnt need a maze, there are at least 50 rooms in the place, and loads of them interconnect, even on the main factory floor there are 4 or 5 big sections with doors either end that you go in and all the way round, its a far better location than any paintball place ive ever been too TBH, especially so trying to cross the main factory floor with people sniping at you would be properly difficult, but you do have pillars to stop behind briefly etc.

Yeah the airfsoft seems a good idea, im just worried about the internal windows getting broken around the offices, there must be 200 internal windows at least seperating rooms etc, and as they are internal they are just single pain thin glass.

I think it pretty much has to be laser really.


Not sure about the quazer or laserquest stuff as it needs the main control computer etc as well, so you would have to buy the whole system, and as we are only going to do this a few times probably as a bit of fun, NOT as a business, thats probably too expensive.

i dont think you'd be able to smash the windows with most airsoft guns, hell, you can safely(ish) shoot people in the head with them

just buy a lod of pillows and some boxing gloves. tape the pillows to your self, put on the gloves and have a royal rumble.
