Reyland performance test figures
I've finally got around to digging out Martin's performance figures from Santa Pod on Monday this week.
In case you haven't read the other posts on the subject, these are low boost 'shake down' figures and the first time the car has ever been launched. It was a chance for him to play with the car, fiddle with the variable 4WD system and generally gather some data...
The best figures we got with the Datron were on his 2nd run of the day (car running 1bar boost).
0-10 0.664sec
0-20 1.273sec
0-30 1.893sec
0-40 2.448sec
0-50 2.956sec
0-60 3.957sec
0-70 4.621sec
0-80 5.775sec
0-90 6.747sec
0-100 8.268sec
0-110 9.714sec
0-120 11.788sec
His best quarter mile time (Santa Pod, TSI figures) of the day was:
11.489sec @128.94mph.
The Datron wasn't fitted at the time (it was in Si Norris' car)
All in all, I think it shows what everyone already knew: the car has HUGE potential. Look forward to him getting the in-car mapping finished and turning the boost up to 11...

What was the 0-60 of the last car, was that under 3 seconds? Amazing figures considering the car is still in testing. Shows just how mental it will be when it's all finished.

No doubt this car will do what it is meant to! 
BUT.... I have to take a moment in my life when my car is actually faster to 60 then Martin's was during that shakedown. Don't spoil my moment!

Happy with that time though with only 380bhp (well it is when the temps aint through the roof).

Martin/lee/mike etc anyone got an idea of what power and at what bar the 1st car made ???
and out of intrest was the gumball spec engine more powerfull than the record breaking engine
