Default Pipeline Card..

Anyone else agree this is a load of rubbish now? never seemed to have come to anything.

Just seen this email now:
Dear Members

As of a couple of weeks ago, Pipeline has been going for exactly a year and
despite the long haul we are all feeling very optimistic and upbeat.

Petrol prices are already at least 5p a litre cheaper than when we started,
public awareness of our aims has grown across the country and, best of all, we
should definitely be able to announce details of the actual Pipeline Card early
in the New Year. Hang in there just a bit longer and it will all have been
worth the wait.

Meanwhile, we have a great Christmas SatNav competition for you with six of the
latest Navman N40s to give away. Free, gratis and for nothing. Full details are
on http://www.pipelinecard.org/navman_competition.aspx

If you aren't lucky enough to be one of our six winners, Pipeline members can
also buy an N40i at a price that even the internet can't beat - direct from
Navman themselves. For those of you who remember the superb deal we were offered
on the ICN 530 a few months ago, this is an even better unit at an even better
price. All the details on are on http://www.navman.com/pipeline

And please, if any of you think that two discount offers in twelve months is
spam, don't send me abusive emails, just drop a line to
unsubscribe@pipelinecard.com and we will take you off our database. We don't
consider our monthly update emails to be spam, all members have agreed to
receive them and let me repeat again that we do NOT give out your details to
anybody else. See our Privacy Policy at http://www.pipelinecard.org/privacy.html
rant over

Have a great Christmas and a happy year's motoring.

Best wishes

Ben Scammell - Pipeline Card Founder

lol at reduction in petrol price, so it was nothing to do with oil price coming down?

I think the guy frequents the MLR forum, I'm sure the card was setup with the best intentions. Personally I feel that the progress is being hampered by the petrol companies as the last thing they want is buyer power dictating the fuel costs, they know that things are just perfect for them as things are hence why would they want to rock the boat??
