Edited- Best price for a 2.2kw Bosch Mk3 fez diesel starter?
i have a 2.0 si and its got the compression ratio upped to 11.01 i think. My starter has always struggled to start and now has given up. Is there any other more powerfull starters that will do a better job. Like maybe a mondeo V6 one or ST170 are they the same fitment???

i would imagine so- peeps put diesel boxes on rst's, and don't metion not being able to use their original starter- i think that most ford FWD straters (front mount) would use the same 3 bolt pattern!

Right phoned ford and my current starter is 1.7kw and the strongest is a diesel one rated at 2.2kw's. Only problem is the 2.2 is almost double the price. Where can i order a proper bosch one from cheap??
