Default Anyone know where i can get a M18x1.5mm Tap?

Need it to re-tap my lambda boss treads.

I've just welded two new bosses in my exhaust and they have warped and need re-tapping.

I need a propper tap and not a dodgy thread cleaner.

I've tried the obvious places but its a unusual size thread.

Thanks

Matt.

I think the tap is the same size as a plug socket tap for a pushrod or cvh engine i cant remeber 100% tho, its worth asking someone at a shop counter if they know of this?

Morning guys,

Yeah the thread is the same as a spark plug.

The best place i have found is www.threadtools.co.uk

Unfortunatly a thread cleaner will not do it as the boss is to miss-shaped from tig welding it into the exhaust, it really needs fully re-tapping.

Thanks for the help.

Matt.
