ZEBRA STRIPES FOR MY CAR
i really want some zebra stripes for just the rear quarter panels for my mondy its ash black so i was thinking silver coloured stripes
heres an old pic of when i first got it but its still the same coour lol

There's nothing wrong with mundane-ohs, I think they're excellent value for money, they normally drive well and they're comfortable.
Tiger stripes look great on track cars because they make them stand out for the right reasons ie they're normally quite fast.
If I saw that mondeo next to me at the lights AND it had tiger stripes on it, I would point at you and laugh.

ok thanks for that it is going to be running on throttle bodies, kent cams, and super chipped with some head work done too i wanna try making this into a 200bhp+ mundane-oh

there OZ racing records in anthracite at the time of me buying them there was only six sets in the country there 17" too

rob what about the stripes like that yellow one that was about years ago?they were rear quarter silver strikes from top to bottom in silver,but that was a hatch.think power and enginering done it.
i love tiger stripes but i think they need to be on the right car.
i couldnt give two shits what everyone else says which is why mine is like it is.i love the old skool look.and im no chav.

yes it is my car rob,and although when i had the idea lots of people were saying dont do it it will look shit,i did it cos it was my choice and i have always loved the turbosystems saff.i just think its brought it a bit up to date in these colours.and the doubters all said it actually looks good
i still get the odd person slating it but i dont care.you either love it or hate.
you go with what you feel mate it your choice.
and i presume you enjoyed the southend meet then?

i was looking at the car last night and i can see the stripes there and think it will actually look really nice but then in the back of my mind i was thinking well its just a mondeo at the end of the day.
but when i beat them 2 ERST's last night (which i woke up this morning and still had a giggle to my self) i thought fuck it the car has got poke and with my plans for that i want to do in the near future it would warrant them being there

thank you very much mate, my cars silver the stripes are black metallic anthracite and white.
and as for yours well its a work in progress and if you are doing quads etc and engine then it wont be outta place but you do have to get the stripes right.i spent ages adating mine from the turbosystems one cos i wanted it a bit different.if the design is all wrong it will kill the look of it.
you will realise with me mate that i say what i think and i dont care what people think,i dont just slag thing off,i give my reasons and because im honest some dont like me.im not fussed at least they know where they stand.

Go for it!
Tiger stripes really improve the look of a car, make it look better than it did from the factory, and usually causes people to stop in the street and applaud you for all the work in improving your car in the eye of any right thinking individual.
Plus, if you ever got lost in a safari park, and the animals break free, you're on easy street!

can i ask you are your stripes pre cut and also where did you get them from as i would rather pay the extra and get an awesome looking set

i went to a place called premier signs in colchester.scott there took the old pic of the turbosystems one and adapted it on the computer for me,thats what took the time,me changing bits took days on and off.
the computer cuts it out thenit took him a day to fit it.
but do a few design s to make sure you are happy.
talk to chris foster who owns vortech,he can do it for you and he is a top bloke

sorry ive not heard of vortech before are they on the net at all with numbers etc
