KW - I noticed that. They aren't that similar tho. There have been a couple of Muse tracks that are a bit Radiohead-esque (notably "Unintended" that EVERYONE thought was Radiohead!!!! Cept me, I bought it on ltd edition CD single 
) but other than that, not many are particulary similar. I think Thom York and Matt Bellamy are similar minds in terms of songwriting and structure tho, so comparrisons may arise from that..... Both are songwriting genious's in my book tho

Thrush - Unintended was amazing, I just wish Muse was more openly available back then, Creep seems to come up under Muse if on limewire which I thought was ironic.
It just annoys me cos I am a huge Muse fan (and come from Exeter which isnt far away from Teignmouth) and when people say "oh Muse?? their shit" its like do you really know what they did? they arent manufactured and they arent one hit wonders like the arctic monkeys so far have been, and dont get me wrong their song was great. Saw Muse in Cardiff about 3 weeks back and they played some Origin of Symmetry and loads off Absolution and Blackholes, but no Showbiz which is a shame cos Sunburn is great as is Muscle Museum, not to mention Showbiz itself.

OASIS are shit, simple. I was heavilly into them during definetely maybe through to be here now the thrid album and kept buying the albums all the way until now PRAYING they would come good again, but seriously its poor. I have all the albums, what have they done in the last 4 years? Fuck all!

I'm a guitarist and IMO Matt belamy Smokes Noel on guitar and is far better vocally than Liam and Noel! Belamy is doing something different, his own thing and while Noel has done some great material in the past its dried up now.

Think that shows what a load of rubbish people were talking when doubting Muse, SOLD OUT 3 hours after tickets going live at the Wembly gig, so much that they have made another open booking for the night after so JJC

I think Buckley suffers a bit from Jim Morrison syndrome, IE, he died in his prime therefore he must of been a genius, he did some awesome songs, quite a few of them were covers though, I must admit though that Grace is still one of my most listened to albums
Oasis pull big crowds because people in their
late 20's early 30's want to go and sing along to Live forever/supersonic/champagne super nova/wonderwall etc etc, which is great and I have no problem with that, but I bet there arent many Oasis fans that got into them on current material, which is whats needed for a modern, current stadium opening, you dont want nostalgia on a night like that, fuck, the crowd will be knocking the place down and trying to errect the wembly towers in a teary eyed memory of the past

never thought of that, only downside to that would be its not that current or have anything to do with the new wembley, I'd still love to see it though 
Perhaps a good idea would be for someone to try and form a super group from todays cream of musicians/songwriters for a one off gig, Jack White, Dave Grohl, Thom Yorke, Johhny Borrell and maybe throw in a few OAP's like Townshend, Gilmour, Richards, Mcartney, Weller, slash etc etc, now THAT would be a night to remember, bit like Live 8 only good

in all honesty thinking properly about it i think the first gig at wembley should have been like a festival of music. bit like the noise and confusion gig that was held at millenium stadium a few years back. and this isnt another dig at muse. i just think a showcase of british music, new and old would have been a spectacular opening of what will be a great venue.

yeh there album is spot on, one of the best of the year tbh, although i think there music appeals to girls rather than blokes. another good support act would be the view.

Plus: 1) The Kooks would never fill Wembly Stadium, 2) Zutons aren't high profile enough, and 3) Baby Shambles don't deserve a slot in the local Dog n Duck, let alone a headline slot at Wembley FFS Pete Doherty is a disgrace to music, and if he topped himself it would actually better the gene pool
