If you've got the early sunroof with winder the motor won't fit, but if you have a later model the motor will fit (easy to check is if you have fine splines its a later style one) If you have an early spec one you'll need to change the whole sunroof this can be a complete pain.
The bracket is held p by the two screws that come through sunroof mechanism and a further two that you'll need to drill (I'm pretty sure this doesn't make sense)

I FOUND IT ALOT EASIER TO BUY A BMW WITH A ELECTRIC SUNROOF FITTED TO IT
also made it easier to have aircon on the car too,,,, aswell as STOP ME DRIVING A OLD SIERRA

if you have a winder handle, then the chances are you have teh big splines
so you nned a granada motor as these are big splines
you need a sierra/granada motor bracket
the bracket will just bolt up alls you have to do is move a couple of clips what the screws screw into
you will then need a serra cover and switch, but you need to swap the connector plugs over form a sierra onto the granada plug or you can just use the granada plug and make the hole bigger on the cover for the switch to place in
now the cover is the hardest part
as electric sunroof models have 2 bits of metal pressed out the roofskin of the car
what i did was line it up to where i want it and mark it out
drill little holes and then finished it up mby making a slot
then i bent the metal down so the cover would clip in
the front side (towards windscreen) will just screw up as it should
then you need the interior light panel as these are diferent aswell, swap a few wires over so it connects up and place it in
note - if your using a granada motor you need to unclip the relay holder and move it somewhere above the motor for the light to fit as the granada motor one sits lower down
heres some pics not brilliant as i forgot to take them while i done it but gives you an idea
holes cut and bent ready
