I believe its currently limited to 105 pixels?

Would a change to 120 in order to match the "gold member" tag not be a good idea, as it would look neater, allow a little more to seen and still be guarenteed to not effect the page layout.

Assuming the 5K limit remained, it would NOT effect page load time either of course
