ok ok people.... x box vs ps3?
How good are these 360 x box's & is it worth buying one or should I wait for the PS3 to be released here in March ??

The 360 is a great console and def worth buying imo.
Having a few probs with mine just now thought due to it freezing on me when playing it through Xbox Live, hopefully get it sorted though
Call of Duty 3 is amazing on it and seriously addictive when playing online and being able to speak to the other guys you are playing with
A few months to wait yet for the PS3 and they are gonna be quite a bit more expensive than the 360 so i have heard, not wotrh the extra cash either i dont think.

i couldn't find the play bit which sold the whole deal, but game has this

ps3 has built in film hd playback(using blue ray) and contains its own power source just to name a couple of plus points 
(360 needs a standalone player-extra money and has an external power source)
i'm waiting for the ps3 as it has the potential to become a far better system imo but i must admit the xbox is good, just not as good and noisy

I waited and waited for the PS3 then got bored and bought a 360.
Best decision I ever made imo.
I'm no computer nerd but I can't see much difference in the hardware, especially when you can buy the HD-DVD drive for the Xbox
Especially as the top PS3 is twice the price of the premium Xbox

getting the ps3 so i can play the g ran turismo which i assume they will lauch at the same time or a few months later as this was how it was with the previous playstations

The PS3 version of Gran Turismo has been canceled so they can start work on GT5 which has no release date. Personally wait till 2008 to buy one at a more reasonable price than the £450+ price point now.

end of the day you can get an X box 360 free with a mobile phone contract
or you can get a bank loan to buy a playstation 3 from fleabay for 1500 quid

If you want HD gaming now.... get the 360 as it's a very good bit of kit.
But.... slate the PS3 off at your peril. If you seriously think it wont sell millions and have excellent software for it, you are very delluded peeps.
The general feeling on the net is that this round of next-gen consoles will not be won by MS, but they sure will make it more even between MS and Sony.
None of this matters in reality as both consoles are going to be great. You aint seen nothing on the 360 yet and the PS3 has only just got out of the blocks. The plus side is that this is all good news for us the consumer.
P.S. Whilst GT4-HD is not being released as a full game now, it is still being launched on-line to download (a cut down version) on 24th December 2006. So I know what I will be playing over Christmas.
