will a saph cage fit in a 3 door?

I had a Sapphire with a 3dr cage in it ! Not sure about the other way round tho

lots of sapphires were fitted with three door cages in the early days as they were more readily available,only thing is the main hoop is in the wrong place and they are not designed to do this!
a saff cage will fit in a 3 door but it will not be any use as the main hoop will be 8" inside the doors and will be significantly weaker fitted to far from the b pillars should you have a crash.

so the answer is no.
