Same as the others then (Kiss, GnR, Genesis, admitedly, Pink Floyed only reformed for Live8 as a one off) as they all did reunion tours. Kiss released a couple of albums, and GnR will "eventually" release the Chinese Democracy album. And for the tours (and Kiss albums) they were all very successfull - all being sell out gigs at stadiums and large arena's.
So really, the only reason you "hardly hear anything about them" as you do for Take That, is cos Take That are British (so we hype it) and b) are pop music, so the papers, press, tv stations, radio etc all take far more notice, than you would get with a rock band, which isn't as mainstream. Would you expect to see live coverage of Kiss playing a sold out show on ITV? Of course not. But you would get that in the states, where rock music is more mainstream.

Fair do's matt i guess i am talking mainstream. I just see it as they split up, then get back together 10 years on an BAM straight in with instant success, in fact i think they will be bigger this time that last...
Probably like ya say they are British so we hype it up and all that...i mean how many REM songs are played on the radio...a handfull of the SAME bloody songs and they are the biggest band to come out of America....Probably a USA v's English thing

gotta say i hate boy bands/pop bands in general, but back for good is a good song, and there new one forgot the name of it now but that is a good song too from whenever i heard it on the radio. i wouldnt buy the album or nothin like that but u can see there good songs.
