Basically he thinks he's going to build an Escort cosworth out of a mk5 shell, and that the Escos isn't based ont he Sierra floorpan, doesn't have a transmission tunnel, and doesn't have wider arches than a normal Escort because "it's the skirts that make it look like that"

I wish I was making this up.....

He's getting a pearlescent paint job as well for £200. And the thing about the shells is ok, because his mate built one.

Just in case anyone is reading the ebay ads and thinking about buying:

The third ad down 1.6 zetec M897 EDF. I bought this car a long time ago for my wife to learn to drive and did a lot of the work on it. Car was sold about two years ago. The bodywork was about the £6k mark and you can still tell the difference. We had it sprayed Aubergine after someone ruined the mallard green with paint stripper. Great car for a rep but a few points to note:

When we had it the log book had about 5 owners and the person selling it is not the person we sold it to so don't know how this has reduced to 3. Also add another 100,000 on to the mileage.
