ZVH has no point.

A STD Zetec head has no restrictions till around 350bhp. This costs = £50-£100

Now how much would a CVH head cost that can flow 350bhp? £700-£1k with solid this that and another etc..

Then you have to pay to mod/bodge the engine to run the wrong head. £?£?£?

So in short.

A Full Zetec will cost less than a ZVH and Also work much better!!!

Hope that helps

So why is everyone spending shead loads of cash making 300+bhp Zetecs and 300+bhp Zvh's are common and cheap?

i cannont see a stock Zetec head flowing that amount of air, even though it is 16v.

A stock zetec head has been tested to 350bhp after that other problems and restrictions apply. I.e Exhaust manifold etc.

The Reason people choose ZVH is because they can still try and cut corners running Std management or some other cheeeeep option like FRST EEC4 etc.. This obviously can still run the std CVH head and dizzy etc. If need be. Some people still try and run MFi with a 2L Zetec block and wonder why they cant get it to run right

If you have a full ZT you will need a decent management system to take that into account.
