Default road legal formula 1 car replica's! now with website link

i was on my way home from work today when i saw a full size replica formula 1 race car

it was identical as far as i could tell (only saw it breifly at the lights)
it had a carbon fibre bucket seat with camera's either side of the driver, i suspect for promo reasons & along the side it said.....

"do you fancy 1 of these" call ***********.................looked fooking awesome

does anyone have any info on them??? it had a new 56 reg etc so is obviously been done as the next stage from road legal buggies & quads

wonder what engines they run & how much they are

Here is mine - sadly not progressed in the last 12 months due to a ton of more profitable projects taking my time up, rather than this moneypit

It will get finished though, just dont know when

Do tell how you think theiy aren't open Wheelers. Those tiny little mudguards dont really close the wheels do they. You can stil stand directly in between the wheels.

What's that above the wheels? Open wheeler means open wheels, i.e. no coverage numpty

ive now got pictures of charlie and them big paws of his clutching the steering wheel on his way to blackpool,,,,,, THEN IT STARTS TO RAIN

people blink then next thing theres a red f1 replica being driven by a green incredible hulk

imagine the embarresment if you was driving one of them and you broke down on the M1,,,,,, sitting on the embankment wearing your ferrari pit suit, steering wheel in 1 hand and your helmet in the other

sad thing is the person who owns that prob thinks everyone passing bibing there horn is confused hes schoey broken down on the way to a race

in actual fact there bibing as you cant hear them yelling "WHAT A CUNT" whilst passing you in there car at 80mph

if your gonna have a mid life crisis ffs buy a tvr or a fooking boxster fuck it even buy a fooking bat mobile replica,,,,,,, JUST DONT FUCKING BUY ONE OF THEM YOU TWATS

AKA IS LET OFF THIS BTW AS HES IS ACTUALLY A PROPER RACE CAR AND NOT A FEW BOX SECTIONS AND BALSA SHAPES OF WOOD PAINTED RED TO LOOK LIKE A RACE CAR

Nope.

Open wheels means the bodywork doesnt cover the wheels. And by bodywork. We mean wings and panels. Not mudguards. And by covering we mean so you cant get inbetween the front and rear wheels.

Honestly. Some people

Whatever they're called, if any of those cars didn't have them on the wheels they'd all be illegal for the open road. Simple as that.

Open wheels, means where the wheel is completely exposed, and seeing as NEITHER of those fits that description, I would say sir that YOU are the numpty.

Can't believe people are disputing the definition of open wheeler! I have seen an F1 replica before, possibly from Japan and that had to have mudguards/guards to be road legal.

Open wheeler is, where the full revolution of the tread on the tyre is exposed, i.e a normal F1 car.

plain and simple if the tyre is fully exposed its an open wheeler, therefore caterham and atom are NOT open wheelers.

I have to agree these replica things look shite.

I dont see why people bother when you could buy the real deal like this one, and convert it.

.............. would you spot the difference as it hurtles past you? Would you even spot the difference at 30 MPH!
Are they joking, it looks crap, of course you could tell the difference, since when do F1 cars run Azev A's for a start , it looks like a crappy kit car, which it is
