really he should be part p certificated. and if he aint then it should be inspected. (thats normally about 80 just for them to say yeah it looks ok)
what u want is a mate who will just take the 10 minutes out of his life to put it in for u.
if it was one of my mates i'd take him to the shop to get the stuff and fit it for them for about £2.50 (the price of a nice cold pint next time were in the pub)
tbh u could probably do it your self if u know how to turn the power off to that circuit

Cable would be a couple of quid max if you needed 6mm. If it is just a 3kw oven then 2.5mm would do and this is even cheaper. You don't need to get a part p registered person in to do it. Anyone with a little knowledge could do it, as said for the price of a pint. 10 minute job. What size load is the oven taking in kw ?

why don't you ask an electrician instead of asking peps on here it aint just as easy as lets stick 2m of cable in, you might not have any spare ways in your fuse board, what about the switch, outlet plate. it might need chasing in or be surface on some tiling etc. Get a local sparks to give you a quote they don't charge

to try an do electrical installation when not qualified to do so is a huge risk to you and your property. You may think electricians charge a fortune but you then have no risk of fire or electric shock upon completion, every electrician will issue a certificate afterwards stating the installation is sound, if no cert is supplied they are cowboys and stay away
