Fiesta ST Advice
I'm thinking about getting a new Fiesta ST to replace my Celica. Does anyone have any experience of them? Any pointers or marks out of ten will be gratefully received.

I had one for a year, great little cars, 2 things that used to annoy me were that it could do with a 6th gear and lack of footrest, but apart from that i would have one again.

They can be well spec'ed up aswell, a lad at my work as one pb with the stripes and his has the in dash 6cd, privacy glass, folding mirrors.
Quite nippy but im unsure what its competition is? I used to have a corsa with the redtop xe in and that would have murdered the Fiesta ST.

Cracking little cars, got ours new in Sep. New frozen white colour facelift with different dash, lights etc.
We got electric folding mirrors, climate control, rain sensitive wipers, privacy glass and mp3 socket.
Seem to be well built with good interiors, Not the quickest car, but the handling as very very impressive.
Here are a few pics of ours

yeah I got one in Red, love it to bits, by far the quickest car I've owned but then again the last quickest I owned was a 51 reg punto sporting. The handling is excellent but with the lack of traction control I have to set off in 2nd in wet weather cos it just spins for fun, 0-60 in less than 8 seconds is pretty good for what it is and the review I read about it doin 0-100 in summat stupid like 24 seconds is bollox because I raced my mate in his vectra 1.8 SRI and I launched it to about 95 mph in about 15 seconds easy lol

Cheers for the input guys. It's going to be leased as there's a good deal on, and my car is up for renewal in a couple of months. The wife wants something that she can drive too, so it can't be mad power and needs to be reasonably small.
I've never had a car with traction control, so that won't be a problem
I'd love a diamond white one with blue stripes, but the wife reckons it's too 'boy racer'. I said that's the point but she's having none of it.
I saw the Focus ST on the rollers but didn't even see the fiesta parked up otherwise I would have stayed a bit longer.
