child seat recomendations
junior is coming back on monday and i will need to sort him out with a car seat
he's only 9 1/2 months old so i'm after a seat that will do the job for a few years
looking at the variety it's a bit mind boggling and most places i've been to or asked over the phone have stated that they would have to have the child there in order for them to get a seat that would best suit them (a bit obvious i know but still)
i am also a bit worried about the reports that not all seats are the same, so anyone here with any experience of baby/child seats and what is the best to go for?
price isn't really an issue as i'd rather go for somethng that i know will be worth the money, but at the same time don't start off by saying "well, there are these seats that are fully padded and start from about £12k" beacuse thats not really going to happen
realisticlay i have seen the prices ranging from about the £80-£200 mark but the trend sees to be that the younger the child the more expensive the seat

Dont get a Recaro one. Sure Im told they are great seats and do well in crash test etc.
BUT
I've also heard stories about them being stolen as they are quite expensive/ desireable. And whats more irritating than coming back with "Junior" to find you cant strap him into the car.
