Sure someone must have asked this already but anyone had any dealings with Jnc28 ? Got some nice looking Escos's (Autotrader advert), which i think are worth a look but it's 100 miles from me and don't wanna go if it's got a bad reputation. Thankyou please

From what ive seen and heard they are very good.Bought a car off them when they were at there old place ,dont want to say what as it was not totally my choice ,bloody women ,they were good to deal with .That was 6 and a half years ago,alot can change.

yes we do live in the sticks up here, i travelled 290 miles to have a look for my escos, fortunately it was a good example. i know every one says you shouldnt buy the first one you look at but i couldnt resist it. what spec,milage, colour etc are you after?

My mate bought a escort turbo years ago, supposidly a low miles unmolested car, when he came to sell it 3 months later the guy looking to buy noticed it had been repainted down both sides and the front wing replaced. My mate was gutted as he paid a lot of money for it.

They was also had an esc cos in imperial blue for 17k that had been painted very badly (runs down the swage panels)

Its also worrying that when you drive down towards it, it looks like there is an accident bodyshop behind there with old panels etc - makes you think !

After imperial, black or aubergine Sean. Not bothered about large or small turbo. Stage 1 ok. Don't want loads of power cos the missus will be driving the kids around in it lol

My white 500 was bought from them by the previous owner to me and its stunning

People all have different opinions as to what is mint and what isnt , its only you who can say if your happy with a car and its price

also , if anyone pays megga money for a car and then finds out its had a lot of paint and a wing fitted then sorry thats his stupid fault , if he didnt know what he was looking for why didnt he take a friend who did before he parted with his hard earned cash ??

People always seem to bring a friend when looking at cars i have for sale , which i like then they get 2 opinions

I went up last week to look at that, The battery tray is badly rusted and its been really badly painted in lots of places.
On the up side the rest of the engine bay is quite tidy and the leather is ok.
After looking at other cars there are some better out there and cheeper than 16k too.
There was an imperial blue one in there which was sold for 17 or 18k cant remember which had runs in the paint on the rear quarter and that is towards the top money for an escos imho.

If your really interested in a car ask to see it outside before anything as the lights really deceptive in there.

I wouldn't even waste the phone call to junkyard 28, massivly overpriced under cared for cars , didn't see one car there last week that wasn't horribly over-priced for it condition, but I can imagine the guy off the street who wants an escort cossie and dosn't know a lot about them would be impressed with the flash showroom and shiney cars , and happily pay 4k over the odds for a very average at best escos
