Hi All,

Can anyone help ?

Been looking for another job and found a few but the company I work for
currently want to keep me and have asked me how much I want to stay.
Dont want to take the piss and ask for too much but at the same time I
dont want to get less than possible

I know different areas of the country have different wage levels.

I seem to remember a web site that can tell you info like this but
cant find it or anything thats a help.

Anyone got any constructive information/comments please ?

generally I would say that if you're workign somewhere you get paid more then the cost of living is probably going ot be more too, unless you commute a reasonable way.

I want to stay local (ish) to where I live.

Already travel about 25 minutes each way every day and thats just
about bearable now.
