Power can be between 270bhp and 316bhp, depending on health of engine etc.

and yes, its fantastic. I absolutely adored mine.

Works very well, ive drive dougstirlings one and was very impressed at the bottom end.

Wheezy and breathless at the top end, but thats what happens with a T3 and no amount of mapping will ever get round that!

dont know about torque.

i never had mine rolling roaded, but as the boost spikes quite high, i'd imagine to torque to be in excess of 300lbs ft.

I had a T34.48 on mine, and the boost had to be backed off to a bar at 6k rpm.

It held 20psi for most of the revs.

God i miss that conversion!!!

I have never been in a car running the NMS Gunship conversion.

Torque figure depends on the boost spike really. The higher the spike, the better the mid range punch basically. It wont be as good as getting a t34 and greys and a mis-range boost spike of 34 psi though

agreed, but bang per buck, its one of the best conversions to have, especially with it being on a par with some stage 3 conversions.

True,

For bang per buck value you should go to Thailand and get a whore for the day

i think it does run higher fuel pressure,, but does that matter? if you need to fit a new reg,,, just crank the new one up to the right setting

and anyway,, the regs a very reliable

Yes if you change it after the conversion... BUT if you change anything like that on a cossie its always advisable to get the car re set up anyway or you may do your self some serious damage.

If Karl were to do the conversion and found your to be faulty it would have to be replaced anyway..

POUND FOR POUND THE BEST CONVERSION OUT THERE imho

I was lucky enough to have the mule vehicle for this conversion and the time that Karl spent working on it was incredible...... . Many people THINK they know what is done......But do they really know

MANY a late night/early morning mapping session was had

All on Yellows and a T3

So Tiff did it pull as well low down as a 330bhp 2wd

If so then to me it seems like the T34,Greens setup is a waste of time realy

I know the Greens setup does have its benefits but NMS Gunship at Ł300 has gotta be the way to go no?

Honestly mate.....I wouldnt even bother with a T34 Greens conversion after having the Gunship mate

Just look in the Stats section of Performance Ford and read what mine and Popeyes did at Brunters......Then compair it to the "Stage 3 " cars on there .....................

excuse me, so was mine,lol

glad to hear it benn

when mine was last on dark blues it ran 317ish and 308ish torque,

after that we then stuck a set of greens in with the ickle t3 and cranked the boost to 2.2bar till 6k dropping to 20psi till the 7.2k limit, proberly not alot more power doing it this way, but meant we could drop the fuel pressure back down to standard , personally i found this conversion much better with the greens and even faster.

after that i got myself into 2 wheels and the rest is history

i'm about to convert from power engineering stage 3, to the MSD closed loop stage 3. lets see what results just a chip change can achieve (other than improved mpg).

have never been in a gunship car, but have seen some impressive times, and its an awesome stage 1

My Ahmed Stage 1 Sapphire did a 13.406 @ 106mph standing quarter at the Pod WAY back in the mid 90s, spiking at 20psi and holding 16psi .

Anyone would think that the wheel had just been re-invented .

NMS Gunship is a superb conversion, highly reccomended.

I run light green injectors (355's), T3 with 360 degree bearing, boost peaks at 1.8 BAR....holds 1.2 BAR to the limiter.

Live mapped to perfection by Karl

Mike, as clever as Ahmed is, he neglected to give his "wheel" a nice catchy name.........The term Gunship helps to "sell" the product - thats good marketing
